Method Acting
A style of acting formalized by Konstantin Stanislavsky which is considered by some to make more genuine activities. Basically, the concept needs stars to sketch encounters from their own individual lives that link to the personality they are playing - an incredibly challenging procedure psychologically. In some situations, "method" stars take the concept even further by organizing activities in their individual lives to look like the lives of their characters. See the trivia records for Down and Out in Beverly Hills and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest for illustrations, and the trivia aentry for Marathon Man for an amusing anecdote.

Motion Blur
Shots of things that easily shift in the digital camera's frame, and/or shots with a slowly shutter rate are likely to generate a "smearing" impact, since the item is in a variety of roles during only one exposure.

Motion Capture
An animation technique in which the actions of an animated item are produced instantly from the motion of a real-world acting professional or item. See also rotoscoping.
