Vertigo effect
A photographic camera strategy created by Alfred Hitchcock during his movie Vertigo that includes monitoring in backwards while at the same time cruising in, making the person or item in the center of the picture seem stationary while their environment change.

Videographer
A person who works in it video medium — recording shifting images and sound onto directly line analog or digital tape, non-linear digital hard drive, or any other digital recording media, such as storage bank cards. On a set, he or she may be responsible for the lighting as well as the sound and images taken by it video camera/camcorder. Videographers differ from cinematographers because they history using movie cameras/camcorders while cinematographers use movie digital cameras to shoot film footage onto movie film stock. The growth of high-definition digital cinematography, however, is quickly blurring this distinction.

Visual Effects
Modifications to a film's pictures during post-production. Comparison with results (except in UK television, where visible results and results are sometimes the same).

Voice-Over
Indicates that conversation will be observed on a film's soundtrack, but the presenter will not be proven. The acronym is often used as an annotation in a program.

Voice-Over Artist
The unseen individual who does the discussing necessary to make a voice-over
