Saddula Bathukamma

This occasion is famous for nine days and indicates on Durgastami. The top level day is known as Saddula Bathukamma. On this day they enjoy into the small hours before leaving their Bathukamma in water. Lakes and water bodies floating with bathukammas in the nights is a treat to the eyes. Maleeda, a prasadam made of jaggery, is ready on this day and distributed at the end of the occasion. People wanting to look at Bathukamma occasion being famous in its true feeling and full wonder must visit Warangal on its last day i.e. 2 days before occasion of Dussehra. Only women are permitted, and male companions must wait outside the grounds.
