Nizamia observatory is a Area observatory, which was recognized in 1907 during the
leadership of the Nizams of Hyderabad state. Its creator was an England-educated
wealthy royal man Nawab Zafar Yar Jung Bahadur, the newest son of Sir Khursheed
Jah Bahadur, It was situated at old Begumpet which is now moved to Osmania university.
