(Builder of Falaknuma Palace) His Excellency Nawab Muhammad Fazaluddin Khan, Sikander Jung, Ekbal-ud-Daula, Aktaidar-ul-Mulk, Sir Viqar-ul-Umara Bahadur, K.C.I.E., the younger son of Nawab Rasheeduddin Khan Bahadur, Amire -Kabir III, was born in Hyderabad in 1856.

He was the grandson of the third Nizam. After the death of Afzal-ud-Daula he was made the guardian of Mir Mahboob Ali Khan, Nizam VI, who was then a minor and was Mahboob Ali Khan’s constant companion and accompanied him in all his travels and tours.

In 1894, when Sir Asman Jah resigned as the Prime Minister Sir Viqar-ul-Umara was appointed as the Prime Minister and continued in the post for six years till 1900.
